Stira is a family run Business that has been manufacturing and installing our own loft ladders in Irish homes for over 30 years. Our ladders are hand made from timber and steel. The only plastic part on our manual ladders is an optional protective boot for the end of the ladder style. Our remote control Stira have electrical components which have small amount of plastic.

Our products do not use any form of packaging. The ladder is transported by us to the customer and installed by our fitters. So we don’t need packaging. Ladders exported to distributors in other countries are packaged using our own left over timber.

The timber we use is sourced from managed forests in Canada and Sweden.
