We are all trying to do our bit to combat waste and climate change; at Eighty9 we’ve analyzed our processes to find ways in which we can reduce waste and make practical changes that demonstrate our commitment to going green.

So we’ve come up with a new environmental initiative to cut packaging for trade customer re-orders – and it simply makes sense.. No more bags. No more cardboard.

We have taken the initiative to design and manufacture 3 kg coffee tins, branded with our logo, which we are supplying to our customers. The tins can be re-filled instead of wasting new packaging on every order. The tins have been specially designed to assist with degassing, to keep the coffee fresh, and also to help with the pouring of coffee beans from the tin into a coffee grinder.
