We are an online store with a primary focus on eco-friendly cleaning products, mostly household but also personal care. I’ve been following the zero-waste movement for a few years. After getting disheartened at the fact that all the products on every supermarket shelf contain palm oil, excess packaging – often non-recyclable – and chemicals that quite frankly don’t need to be there and can be quite dangerous to human and animal health; I decided to do something about it – and Green Elements was born.
Ever seen that pictogram with an exclamation mark on your detergents? It doesn’t mean, be careful, it means it’s hazardous to health and is only safe if handled appropriately. If you were in a lab, that means gloves and glasses. According to the World Health Organisation, in Europe almost around 1 in 10 childhood deaths is due to unintentional poisoning in the home due to ingestion of pharmaceuticals and cleaning products. That’s how dangerous this stuff really is. It doesn’t have to be though. We’ve done the legwork for you and found some of the best, sustainable and safe cleaning products around with more being added as and when found!
